About the Rethink the Horse Tax Campaign
Rethink the Horse Tax is a not-for-profit campaign led by the voice of the UK equine sector - the British Horse Industry Confederation (BHIC). The Confederation is made up of six organisations which represent hundreds of thousands of people involved a broad cross section of activities in the horse community - from riders and racegoers to commercial businesses and profession horsebreeders.
The BHIC includes the following member organisations:
- British Horseracing Authority (BHA)
- The British Equestrian Federation (BEF)
- Thoroughbred Breeders' Association (TBA)
- British Horse Society (BHS)
- the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA)
- and the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA)
